Imagine & Believe 2020

Virtual Event- Tuesday, November 10th 4:30-5:30 p.m. EST.

Thank you for Imagining and Believing with NTSAD! We had more than 200 people join us on November 10, and we raised more than $100,000 to sustain NTSAD’s ongoing programs and services for families.

Watch the event, and Imagine & Believe videos Here.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Join NTSAD on November 10th where we will share advances in research and honor patients and families at NTSAD’s annual Imagine & Believe event. Several families will share their stories, experiences, and hopes for the future.

“Thirteen years ago, I joined NTSAD to drive research. Today, we have at least 10 companies working on drug development with several clinical trials underway and an equal number of academic institutions and companies working on diagnostics, natural history studies, as well as other clinical development tools. We can truly imagine and believe there will be effective treatments for patients and families in the very, near future. This year at Imagine & Believe, we will highlight our powerful community, particularly the families we serve. After all, supporting families is the center of everything we do.” -- Sue Kahn, NTSAD executive director.

The event raises vital funds for supportive services for individuals and families affected by Tay-Sachs, Canavan, GM1, and Sandhoff diseases.

Looking for an idea?

  • Hold a backyard BBQ for friends, neighbors and colleagues.
  • Have a wine and cheese party and share your story.
  • Host an awareness event at a local fair/school/synagogue.
  • Host a tournament at your local school, roller-skating rink or bowling alley.
  • Organize a community walk at a local park.
  • Go formal. Organize a dinner/dance with a silent auction.

Any idea, big or small, helps and has an impact on the work NTSAD does every day.

Day of Hope - Event Timeline

We have a suggested timeline available that can make the process of planning any kind of event less daunting. It is merely a guideline to help you as you think about ways to observe the Third Annual Day of Hope. Remember - any idea is a great idea, and any day is just as important. There are many events held on different days in different months, and their efforts still count as part of the overall mission to fund research.    pdf Download the PDF here. (1.09 MB)

Media Tips and Samples
